What this service is

Airfield Index is an independent reference directory of US airports, heliports and seaplane bases. It helps you look up US airports and other landing facilities and keep a personal list of saved airports. It is informational. It is not affiliated with the FAA or with the airports listed.

Not for flight planning or navigation

This site is for reference only. Do not use it for flight planning, navigation or any operational decision. Always use official FAA data, current NOTAMs and valid charts, and check with the airport operator.

No guarantee of accuracy or completeness

Records come from the sources described in the Privacy policy. They can be out of date, incomplete or wrong, and some fields are not listed. The list may not cover every facility. The service is provided “as is” and “as available”.

Third-party data

Names and trademarks belong to their owners. Where the information on this site comes from is explained in the Privacy policy.

Acceptable use

• Do not break the law, attack or overload the site, or probe it for weaknesses.
• Do not scrape the site at a rate that harms it.
• Do not submit false reports, other people’s personal information or abusive content.
• Do not try to access another person’s account or data.

Accounts

You may create an account with a verified email address or Google sign-in. Keep your password secret and tell us if you think someone else used your account. Account data is handled as described in the Privacy policy.

Ending your use

You can stop at any time and delete your account in Me → “Delete my account”. We may suspend an account or restrict access if these terms are broken or to protect the site or other people, and we may change or stop any part of the service.

Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for losses that come from relying on the information here, including a closed airport, a changed runway or travel costs, or from the site being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that cannot legally be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they were last updated. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.
